This festival benefits Surf Clubs of America, Inc., focusing on teaching foster youth about surf culture while encouraging self betterment, academics, service to others and healthy habits through lessons and regular supervised outings.
During our quest for new adventures in craft beer, we'd heard a legend that left us sailing the 7 seas, craving a beer festival so epic that we simply COULD NOT GET IT OUT OF OUR HEADS! Our trail went cold when arriving in California, knowing we'd found the final clue to find the FORBIDDEN BEER FESTIVAL in a funny place called "Trader Jens'"...

Aaron Schwartz - Trivia Host
The trader of trivia, Aaron Schwartz, is a well-known face at many SoCal breweries because of his wildly popular trivia nights and we're fortunate to be trading our two heads for one of his. And let's not forget his insanely popular doggo, Barley, who often makes cameo appearances during rounds of trivia!
Ukulena - Ukulele & Vocalist
Marlena, known in these parts as "Ukulena" has been playing the Ukulele since she was 5 and has been performing with it since the age of 12! Bringing those island vibes to Forbidden Beer Fest - a tiki adventure, we're excited to share her unique take on a few Polynesian classics.
